Children's Church is a "child friendly" worship time that will use Bible stories, teaching, crafts, music, and simple lessons to teach the Gospel to our children and help them CONNECT with Christ.
The purpose of Children’s church is to create an environment where the youth can ask questions to gain knowledge they understand while also associating pleasant experiences with church. We Celebrate Jesus! Along with our teachers (including Ministers, Deaconesses, and Educated Christians who love the Lord), it is First Calvary’s mission to build Christian principles and foundations in young lives. We encourage you to register your child or volunteer to serve.
Church Structure:
Children participating in Children’s Church are able to learn about the structure of church and its different functions.
On any given Sunday, children lead worship by:
- Serving as an usher
- Reading scripture
- Leading praise and worship
- Praying
Children’s Church teaches the fundamentals of what church means and how we can all be a part of it as we grow. We use the Echos curriculum and encourage parents to discuss/ask questions on what was covered each week. Bible knowledge includes topics such as the 10 commandments, Fruit of the Spirit, Beatitudes, Lord’s Prayer, and the Books of the Bible.
